The FANTEC SQ-X2RU3e is a super speed USB 3.0 + eSATA enclosure with RAID function. Due to a simple and quick installation by Plug & Play, the device is ready to use immediately. The flexible selection of the data interfaces SUPER SPEED USB ??3.0 or eSATA are providing very fast data transfers at up to 5Gbps (USB 3.0) or 3Gbps (eSATA). The built-in 80mm fan can be controlled manually and is continuously adjustable and therefore supports optimal HDD cooling. The energy saving feature switches off the FANTEC SQ-X2RU3e automatically as far as the PC will be turned off. The device can be used at USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 too. - For use with 2x 3,5" SATA hard disks. - Easy installation by plug & play. - RAID 0 -Stripping Mode: Maximum Speed through two simultaneous working HDDs. - BIG - Spanning Mode: Two HDDs combined to one single HDD. (no Raid). - RAID 1- Mirroring Mode: Maxiumum security by HDD mirroring. - JBOD Mode: Two independent HDDs (no Raid). - 3 LED- indicator for Power on and HDD activity (HDD1, HDD2).
